PPL Electric Utilities workshop

Classroom presenter Kelly Van Dusen teaches the workshop. PPL Electric Utilities and the National Energy Foundation held a free hands on workshop for teachers in any K-12 school in PPL Electric Utilities service area at the PPL¿s Walbert Training Center in Allentown Tuesday. The workshop taught sustainable practices with a focus on energy sources, energy consumption and energy efficiency which can be integrated into their lesson plans. Hands on activities included performing various energy assessments around the building and using a Kill-A-Watt meter to measure electricity usage of different electrical devices.
