Schnecksville Elementary 3rd grader Allison Barilla, 8, of Schnecksville (left) takes a photo, as she is led on a tour through one of the freezers by Director Ann McManus inside Second Harvest Food Bank in Allentown during the district's 8th Annual District-wide community service on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Prior to the tour, students and staff members from the Parkland School District collected and prepared the donated food items for a 15,000+ item donation. On Wednesday, 45 student representatives from throughout the district helped load and wrap pallets of food that was then delivered to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Allentown. The students then travelled to Second Harvest, where the students were led on a tour and taught how the non-profit works to feed 50,000 people each month in the local region.
