Hudson Car Museum

You would never know that one of the world's finest collection of Hudson cars is located in the tiny village of New Smithville on Old Route 22. Bernie Thompson manages a fleet of Hudson automobiles and museum for Dr. Robert Blake of Garden City New York. The Hudson Company was started in 1909 and ended in 1957. The museum is open to the public by appointment. Thompson (left) and assistant Randy Bear load a 1949 Hudson Super Six to be transported to the Das Awkscht Fescht antique car show held August 3-5.
