Louise Valeriano, sister of late Bethlehem City Councilwoman Magdalena Szabo, sits on the bench donated in the memory of her sister by the Ironworkers local 136 union and installed along the South Bethlehem Greenway on Thursday. The city held the dedication ceremony near the Sand's Casino in honor of her service to the city and her devotion to the revitalization of Bethlehem's south side where she grew up. She was an early supporter of the Sands Casino and the prospect of the economic boom that it might bring.
