Am I missing something? Why is this blogger referring to a "reach school" as a school "I thought I could get into despite the competitive nature of its admissions process?" Hmm. He was "dumbfounded" and "bummed."
Isn't a "reach school" a college to which one applies knowing that acceptance is a long-shot? I'm still a year away from the college search process for my oldest dude, but I thought I knew at least some of the lingo. What gives?
