There's sleepless nights, guilt and tantrums, but there's also pure happiness, pride, joy and unconditional love!
There's no debating that being a parent is an emotional roller coaster, with many ups and downs, it's quite a ride! Moms and Dads need a break. But, when they take that break, for how long, and who watches the kids is a very personal decision, and one that varies greatly.
Prince William and Kate Middleton just took a week-long vacation to the Maldives WITHOUT their 7 month old son, Prince George. Read the story here. He's reportedly staying with the Middleton family. Critics immediately pounced on the couple, criticizing them for leaving their son at such a young age.
Of course every family is different. This story struck a nerve with me because I'm filled with anxiety about leaving my daughters to attend an out of town wedding. I have mixed feelings about it, but does a baby free vacation have anything to do with parenting abilities?
