Soda baffles me. Even my own use of soda is baffling: I buy organic foods when available and not overpriced, yet I polish off a can of Diet Coke nearly every afternoon. It’s crap, and I’m grossed out by what I know it’s doing to my body.
So surely I wouldn’t let my kids drink the stuff, knowing that it’s rotting their innards. Right? Well, only on special occasions. Like birthday parties. And only when we eat out at a restaurant. Or when we get Subway. Or when we’re at someone’s house and everybody else is drinking it.
Sheesh. Considering the fact that I really don’t let them drink it, they drink it all the time.
