Moms with three kids stress about staying fit and attractive, according to this study.
We do? We stress? If “we” have enough time to “stress” (I really don't like how this word is used here) then we should maybe go run around the house a few times.
Apparently, we are stressing about being attractive to … our husbands? The guy who, in this study, stresses us because he is “sometimes just another big kid demanding attention?"
But “we” are mostly stressing because we’re putting pressure on ourselves to be perfect.
Oh, come on. Perfect? Most of the moms I know are aiming towards passable. We give ourselves kudos for making it through a trip to Target without anyone breaking anything or getting lost.
Can we doofuses in the media just stop putting it out there that moms are all striving to be perfect? We’re not. We’re just trying to get through the day without forgetting to pick someone up after school.
