CDC Says Kids Get Too Much Screen Time

CDC Says Kids Get Too Much Screen Time (Cole Camplese / July 15, 2014)

A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests kids are getting way too much screen time.

The study asserts that 98% of 12 to 15 year olds watch television daily, many exceeding the 2 hour a day time limit recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

91% report using a computer daily, outside of school.

Research also links excessive screen time to childhood obesity.

Take a look at these important findings, published in the July issue of "NCHS Data Brief".
