Local Event For "Worldwide Day Of Play"

In conjunction with Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play, Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk will offer a free day of dun on Saturday, October 6th.  Activities will include outdoor games, interactive sports and live performances by jugglers, magicians and even plate spinners! 
Nickelodeon began this event nine years ago in an effort to reduce childhood obesity, encourage kids to engage in active play and reinforce lessons about a healthy lifestyle.  
Interestingly, Nickelodeon's TV channels will "go dark" on the 6th to drive home this message.
