Oh, thinking up creatively nutritious meals, grocery shopping and food prep just don't come easy for me.

Sometimes I walk through the aisles of the market, as if in a daze, with no real plan for attack.

Perhaps I should turn to my smart phone.

According to this eMarketer article, more and more of us moms are relying on our mobile devices for help in the grocery store.

Forget the shopping list, penned at home by the kitchen table.  Food apps and social networks. such as Pinterest, are assisting parents with last-minute menu planning.

The article states:

According to a December study of female smartphone owners surveyed by Allrecipes.com from among the Allrecipes.com and Meredith Digital community, not only are women consulting their devices while in grocery stores, they are also turning to them for inspiration on what to buy.

Do you peruse the aisles, smart phone in hand?

Has this approach to shopping helped you remember items and purchase creative ingredients?
