I had a scary incident with my youngest son at a pool last week....and it was a frightening reminder that we all still have to be very, very careful on these hot days when pools are crowded and difficult to monitor.
I read this article on The Baltimore Sun's website and I thought it offered some new, fresh ideas for pool safety. I will now encourage my kids to "buddy up" in the water and to not play "holding breath" games under the surface.
