Women voters have been classified as Soccer Moms, Working Moms and Stay-At-Home Moms. And those are just within the category of women with children. Men, however, are categorized by political pollsters in a much simpler way: Old men. Young men.
And now we have Walmart Moms. I think of myself as a Target Mom, with a hefty dose of Marshalls Mom added in. Definitely not a Walmart Mom or a Nordstrom Mom.
Which are you?
Why is it that we get all broken down into categories for our voting preferences but not in clothing sizes? Men buy shirts with specific arm lengths and neck sizes, while we get to choose from Small, Medium and Large. I own clothing in all three sizes.
Maybe if we didn’t have to spend so much time trying on clothes we’d be able to focus more on the important things, like answering political surveys.
