"So If I get only one glass of water each day of the year I will have to pay $585 for the year or $1.60 a glass?" says Benito. "Wow."
An actual one-year supply of water (100 ccf), including fees, will cost a non-member customer $835 and a member customer $650.
"It's astronomical," says Benito. "A shallow well is looking better every day."
