The Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College is offering several cultural and historical day trips this spring.
“Spies of Washington and the International Spy Museum” will take participants to Washington, D.C., on Saturday, April 27, to explore many of the locations that have been associated with intelligence and counter-intelligence activities. The cost is $95, which includes all entrance fees, transportation, and lunch at Gordon Biersch Restaurant.
Historian and author Roger Swartz will host a trip to Fort Ligonier, in Pa., on Thursday, June 20, to explore the history of the French and Indian War at Fort Ligonier. Transportation, lunch, and the guided tour are included in the $88 cost.
The “Washington D.C. Escape” will deliver trip goers at the Smithsonian Castle, on Tuesday, June 4, where they are free to explore their favorite museums on the National Mall. The $47 fee includes transportation and a tour map.
