CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.—Cumberland Valley School of Music will present the fifth annual Neighborhood Chefs' Walk Saturday, June 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. along Alexander Avenue between Carlton and Pennsylvania avenues in Chambersburg.
It will be held rain or shine.
Tappen will serve an Asian menu featuring beef bulgogi, shrimp-fried rice, cabbage salad with sesame dressing, chicken satay and Asian noodles.
Munson's station will offer grilled pork loin with mango, jicama and black bean salsa, Fulton Farms greens with Georgia peach and Vidalia sweet onion salad, grilled bayou shrimp rolls and backyard grilled vegetables.
Bowman will serve Spanish garlic shrimp, Venetian macaroni and Italian cheeses, beef bourguignon and Swedish meatballs.
Boock will serve original, Gold Fever and barbecue chicken wings, and Fat Tommy's and other dry-rub styles of ribs.
Barber will serve frosted cookie pops, fresh fruit pies and other assorted desserts.
Chestnut Landing at Menno Haven staff will serve barbecue beef brisket sliders with Napa cabbage slaw, Southwestern-style rice and roasted beef with red onion, poblano and lime-cilantro dressing.
The event also will feature wine and beer sampling, live music, cooking demonstrations and a silent auction.
Tickets cost $60 per person, and are available at The Cottage, Johnnie's Restaurant and Hotel Services, Norland Pub, The Butcher Shoppe and the Cumberland Valley School of Music.
Proceeds benefit the Cumberland Valley School of Music, a nonprofit organization.
