Gubernatorial and mayoral elections

There may not be an overwhelming amount of either in 2013, but there will be several key races across the country. Popular N.J. Gov. Chris Christie will be vying for a second term in office, while Va. Gov. Bob McDonnell will be leaving due to term limits. Los Angeles's own Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and New York City's Michael Bloomberg will also be out of office due to term limits, with a competitive crop of possible candidates already looking at the soon-to-be-open offices.
