With several prominent Obama administration officials leaving in 2013, most notably Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, look for another arduous vetting process as Obama makes his nominees. Even rumored candidates, like U.N. ambassador Susan Rice (before she withdrew) and former Sen. Chuck Hagel have already been dragged through the mud before their official nominations. At least Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) has so far received a relatively warm welcome as Obama's official nominee to follow in Clinton¿s footsteps.
