She played the villain Sharpay in "High School Musical," but in real life Ashley Tisdale has cast herself as a media mogul complete with acting career, singing career and upcoming executive producing roles.
Aside from starring in this falls High School Musical 3, Tisdale has plans to put out a second album on Hollywood Records and will voice a side character in the Disney Channels new animated show Phineas and Fab. She is also working with the Disney Channel as executive producer of an as-yet-untitled show based on her experience working in a mall.
Beyond Disney, Tisdale stars in the teen thriller They Came From Upstairs, coming in 2009, and is in talks to play the lead in a remake of 1989s Teen Witch for United Artists. Shes also negotiated a one-year first-look deal with FremantleMedia America (the company behind American Idol) to develop youth-themed reality shows.
Report card sum-up: A-plus. Tisdale is set to graduate first in her class.
