'Star Trek's' Leonard Nimoy has lung disease

"I quit smoking 30 yrs ago. Not soon enough. I have COPD. Grandpa says, quit now!! LLAP," the actor best known as Mr. Spock wrote on Twitter, the first of a few warnings about the hazards of smoking.
