Another alleged victim, now 22, came forward after Whitehurst's arrest and told police he had a sexual relationship with the teacher. He said the relationship took place when was a junior at the high school, according to Baker.
Redlands police launched its investigation after the mother of the boy who fathered her child alerted school officials. They called Redlands police Monday.

The teacher was immediately placed on leave by the Redlands Unified School District.
