To try to learn more about the causes of heart disease in modern people, a research team led by Dr. Gregory Thomas of Long Beach Memorial Hospital scanned ancient mummies. Here the team moves the body of an Egyptian scribe named Hatiay, who lived more than 3,000 years ago.
