Box-office showdown

There isn't much competition here. The actors both released their first big movies in 2005. Pattinson had "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which raked in close to $300 million. Lautner had "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl," a successful kids' flick that nearly hit $40 million. Winner: According to Box Office Mojo, Pattinson's eight film roles, from "Potter" to "Water for Elephants," have grossed more than $1.4 billion; Lautner's have earned $1 billion. Warner Bros.
