There isn't much competition here. The actors both released their first big movies in 2005. Pattinson had "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which raked in close to $300 million. Lautner had "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl," a successful kids' flick that nearly hit $40 million.
Winner: According to Box Office Mojo, Pattinson's eight film roles, from "Potter" to "Water for Elephants," have grossed more than $1.4 billion; Lautner's have earned $1 billion.
