Today's front page of the L.A. Times brought sobering economic news:
- Boeing's shutting its Long Beach C-17 plant, and up to 3,000 people will lose their jobs.
- Unemployment in L.A. County still stands at 9.9%.
- The Federal Reserve says it is downgrading its forecast for U.S. economic growth to 2% to 2.3% this year, off from the 2.3% to 2.6% it had predicted in June.

Join us at 10:30 a.m. today as consumer columnist David Lazarus hosts a live chat with Reich about the film and the economy. You can check out the trailer below.
