Julianne Moore collected a pair of Oscar nods in 2003 -- lead actress for "Far From Heaven," only to be beaten by Nicole Kidman in "The Hours," and supporting actress in "The Hours," but the Oscar went to Catherine Zeta-Jones in "Chicago." Moore earned another Oscar nomination for lead actress in 2000 for "The End of the Affair," but was bested by Hilary Swank in "Boys Don't Cry." In 1998 Moore was nominated for a supporting actress Oscar for "Boogie Nights," but lost out to Kim Basinger in "L.A. Confidential."
