Bio: 27, a wedding planner and elementary-school substitute teacher from Tucson. She is single. Height and weight: 5-foot-7 and 282 pounds.
Jessica had a physically and verbally abusive relationship with her mother when she was growing up. Weight was one of the issues they fought about, and Jessica said she ate fast food out of rebellion. She was 17 when she moved out of her home. On her own, with no boundaries, Jessica said she wasn't always as concerned for her safety as she should have been. The result: She was sexually assaulted in college -- her first sexual experience. She said she hid it from everyone and gained nearly 80 to 90 pounds to keep men at a distance. Weight-loss surgery has not helped Jessica. She said she hopes to work on her trust issues while at the ranch, and learning, once and for all, what she can and cannot eat. "I'm scared of carbs," she said. She wants to pay it forward by helping other victims of sexual assault. "If I don't take what I learn here -- physically, emotioanally, nutritionally -- then all that crap that happened to me was a waste. All those things happened to me so I could get to this place and help others," she said. "I am going to be the 'Biggest Loser' ambassador."
