'9 to 5'

In the 1980 film "9 to 5" Judy Bernly finds work as a secretary at Consolidated Companies after her husband loses their savings and runs off with his secretary. There she meets Violet Newstead and Doralee Rhodes. The three women bond over troubles at their workplace and end up kidnapping their supervisor Franklin Hart Jr. after an attempted murder accusation. Making the most of his captivity, they start enacting positive changes at Consolidated Companies in his name. The movie was adapted into a musical that ran on Broadway in 2009 and earned four Tony nominations.
