Bio: 22, a student from Moore, Okla. She is single. Height and weight: 5-foot-5 and 322 pounds. Allie was all of 5 when she was in a car accident that killed her sibling. After that, her mother was too devastated and grief-stricken to give Allie much structure or discipline. Allie began overeating, but sports helped her keep her weight somewhat in check. In later years, her weight gained momentum and made sports a distant memory. Weight-loss surgery hasn't helped Allie. But the turning point was when her mother recently had a stroke and had two toes amputated, conditions related to her diabetes and high blood pressure. Allie went to visit her mother and noticed that all the other stroke victims nearby were people in their 60s, 70s and older. Her mother is just 48. "It hit me ... I don't want to become my mom," she said. One of her pay-it-forward plans is to help her 11-year-old sister, Zoe, play soccer.
