Disgraced fashion designer John Galliano gets a job

Ralph Lauren was the guest of honor at a dinner hosted by Prince William at Windsor Castle on Tuesday. The prince is president of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which plans to open a new Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research thanks to a generous donation from the designer. Among the 150 guests were members of Lauren's family as well as actors Benedict Cumberbatch,  Emma Watson, Helena Bonham Carter and Cate Blanchett; model Kate Moss with her rocker husband, Jamie Hince; and photographer Mario Testino. John Galliano, who was out of steady work as far as we knew since Dior fired him as creative director in 2011 for anti-Semitic comments made in bars, has quietly been working as a consultant on beauty projects for Russian perfume company L'Etoile for the last few months. [Telegraph]

Kim Kardashian could stand to make $21 million from her wedding to Kanye West in deals with various companies, according to a new report. In comparison, she made a reported $18 million when she married Kris Humphries, her short-term second husband. [Daily Mail]

David Beckham was the center of attention at a party in London on Thursday launching his new men's swimwear collection with H&M. The venue was decorated with large photos of Beckham modeling the collection, of course, but Beckham wore head-to-toe black. [MTV UK]
