Jackie Stiles is one of Kansas' greatest female basketball players. Born in Claflin Kansas, Stiles played for Claflin High School and became the top scorer for boys and girls in the history of Kansas high school basketball. She went on to play at Missouri State University from 1998 - 2001 and still holds the top female basketball NCAA scoring record with 3,393 points. Styles led Missouri State to the NCAA Final Four in 2001. She is the only female college basketball athlete to score more than a 1,000 points in a single season. Styles was named the three time Missouri Valley Player of the Year. She went on to win the WNBA's Rookie of the Year award in 2001.
