A country music icon may have been enjoying a Super Bowl party too much after being arrested for public intoxication early Monday morning.
According to a report from Fox 8 Cleveland, officials with the Sanger Police Department in Texas arrested Randy Travis around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning after police found the singer sitting in a vehicle in front of a Baptist church.
Police discovered Travis, 52, to be intoxicated and a search of his car turned up an open bottle of wine.
Travis was taken to the Denton County jail where he was booked on a public intoxication charge. He was later released to a sober party around 7:45 a.m., according to the report.
