Solution: Use Eye Drops Containing an Antihistamine

Eye drops, either over-the-counter or prescription, can temporarily relieve red, burning eyes. But in order to reduce itching and swelling, look for an eye drop with an antihistamine on the label, since these treat the root of the allergy symptoms. Some examples are <a href="http://www.drugs.com/pro/albalon.html">Albalon</a>, <a href="http://www.drugs.com/patanol.html">Patanol</a>, and <a href="http://www.drugs.com/pro/emadine.html">Emadine</a>.
