The <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000223" title="UConn Women's Basketball" href="/topic/sports/basketball/uconn-womens-basketball-ORSPT000223.topic">UConn women</a>'s basketball team visited the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLCUL000110" title="White House" href="/topic/politics/government/white-house-PLCUL000110.topic">White House</a> Monday afternoon to meet President Obama in the Rose Garden to be honored for winning the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000001" title="National Collegiate Athletic Association" href="/topic/sports/national-collegiate-athletic-association-OREDU0000001.topic">NCAA</a> Women's National Championship. After the ceremony was finished he walked to a small basketball court on the grounds of the White House to play a game of "PIG" with a couple of the players. He won after Rene Montgomery, Tina Charles and Maya Moore each missed a shot and the President missed just one shot.
