U.S. Sen. Christopher Dodd, center, waits to be introduced during a press conference at the Legislative Office Building Thursday afternoon on the ramifications and effects of the home foreclosure crisis on renters. Dodd joined forces with local political leaders and the Yale Legal Service Organization, who are looking for more protection for tenants, who often face eviction automatically when a bank forecloses. Also on Thursday, Dodd said he will return any contributions received from financier R. Allen Stanford, who is accused by federal regulators of defrauding investors of $8 billion.
