Nutmeg Companies Flooded In Norwichtown

Diana Bugbee, president and one of the owners of The Nutmeg Companies Inc., a general contractor firm located on the banks of the Yantic River, walks through the mud and silt as she inspects the flood damage inside the offices Wednesday afternoon. The force of the rushing river toppled refrigerators, desks and chairs and destroyed valuable equipment. The level of the river water can be seen on the door at left.
