Connecticut Science Center

With the help of two robots, the ceremonial ribbon was cut by Gov. M. <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="hpp2166" title="M. Jodi Rell" href="/topic/politics/government/m.-jodi-rell-hpp2166.topic">Jodi Rell</a> who was joined by the Center's Board of Trustees to officially open the new <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100200000000" title="Connecticut" href="/topic/us/connecticut-PLGEO100100200000000.topic">Connecticut</a> Science Center June 12, 2009. The 150,000 sq. ft. Science Center, located on the banks of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP003791" title="Connecticut River" href="/topic/business/connecticut-river-ORCRP003791.topic">Connecticut River</a>, has 150 interactive exhibits, a 3D movie theater, laboratory classrooms and a cafe.
