BRAD CLIFT/HARTFORD COURANT
July 29, 1999
A camper shields his eyes from the fire as others can't take their eyes off the flames during the Connecticut Burns Care Faoundation Burn Camp, the last week of July in Union, Ct. Campers and counselors often spent the end of the day huddled around a camp fire, often started with much effort by firefighters each evening. The group which is comprised of mostly older campers, tells ghost stories and other chilling tales. What is not up for discussion is how each was burned.
