Author Jay Cooper

Jay Cooper, 86, finished his novel, Hammurabi's Dagger, 20 years after he started it. It's described as "A fast-moving, time-travelling adventure with an historical bent .. and is based on the premise that extraordinary things can happen to ordinary people." Cooper has developed an unusual brain disorder called Lewy Body Dementia whose symptoms include delusions and hallucinations, eerily similar to those experienced by Cooper's fictional character, an Italian lawyer named Sal Dematteo.
