A Mother's Loss

In this 2005 file photo, Jonathan Frew of West Hartford (R) offers condolences to Lessa Phillippon, whose son Lance Cpl. Lawrence Robert Phillippon, was killed in Iraq on Mother's Day. Frew was reporting for duty with Marine Airwing 28th Division the following week, and stopped by to meet the Phillippon family after marching in the West Hartford Memorial Day Parade.
