The Trinity football team plays Saturday at Tufts, and there's a good chance the Bantams will easily move to 4-0. Tufts hasn't won a game since the 2010 season opener and Trinity has won 13 in a row in the series.
The next Saturday, Oct. 19, Trinity will host Bowdoin looking for its 50th consecutive victory at Jessee/Miller Field.
Also, the Bantams have never lost a game on field turf. They are 51-0 all-time.
Trinity is 46-0 at home since the Jessee/Miller grass field was replaced in 2002. The Bantams lost their 2001 home opener to Williams and won their final three home games that season, all on grass.
The Bantams are 5-0 in turf road games, including two victories at Hamilton and one each at Middlebury, Bates and Colby.Copyright © 2015, CT Now
