“It’s a Wonderful Life” radio play, based on the 1946 film, will be presented Dec. 7 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Mark Twain House & Museum. The play is written by Joe Landry and directed by Virginia Wolf. Tickets are $19. A more elaborate production was presented several years ago as part of the main stage season at Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven.
Also at the Twain center: Workshop Theater Company’s production of “Life on the Mississippi,” a musical based on the Mark Twain memoir, will be presented at the Mark Twain House & Museum on Dec. 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. The show, now playing off-Broadway, is by Philip W. Hall and directed by Susanna Frazer.
