The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
Founded on Ridgefield's historic Main Street in 1964, the museum is one of the few non-collecting contemporary art museums in the U.S., and plays a key role in the exhibition of cutting-edge art. The Aldrich places emphasis on presenting exhibitions by emerging and mid-career artists, many of whom go on to achieve critical acclaim. The museum also features a two-acre sculpture garden.
The Aldrich operates Tuesday through Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free to all on Tuesdays.
