Right-To-Die Hearing

William F. Meyers III (right) testifies before a Public Health Committee hearing at the Legislative Office Building on a proposed bill that would allow doctor-assisted suicide.  Meyers assisted his father's suicide in 1991 when his father was suffering with terminal colon cancer.  He spoke in favor of the legislation.  State Senator Toni Boucher, R-26, (left) accompanied Meyers and introduced him before he testified.
