Gene Falcone rinses mud off screens form the basement of his cottage on Shore Road on Oak Grove Beach in East Lyme as residents deal with no power for the fourth day after Hurricane Sandy slammed the state on Monday. Falcone and his wife Gay Reichart are fortunate that they have a couple of generators to keep the refrigerator and a few other appliances working for the time being.
