Sajak played fussy Felix Ungar in Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" at the Harriet Jorgensen Theatre on the UConn campus in Storrs.
Sajak stars as The Man in the Chair, "the fervent musical theater fan who plays his favorite cast album from the Roaring '20s on his record player, which causes the frothy jazz age musical to burst to life around him."
"The Drowsy Chaperone," which also stars Liz Larsen in the title role, plays June 6 to 15. The show's music and lyrics are by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison with book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.
Next up will be Steve Hayes as Pseudolus in the musical comedy "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," with music and lyurics by Stephen Sondheilm and a book by Burt Shevlove and Larry Gelbart. The show plays June 20 to 30. Hayes was featured in last summer's "The Piurates of Penznance" at the Nutrmeg Summer Series.
Wrapping up ther series will be Meredith Willson's "The Music Man," starring Barrett Foa (Eric Beale in TV's "NCIS: Los Angeles") as Harold Hill. Foa's crediuts also includes Broadway's "Avenue Q,"
