Patricia Rosoff of West Hartford, is an ward-winning artist and writer. She grew up in Turlock, Calif., and was educated on the East Coast. An abstract painter, she received her bacherlor's degree in fine arts from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master's degree from Hartford Art School. She is chair of the Creative Arts Department at Kingswood-Oxford School, where she has taught studio art and advanced placement art history since 1975. A published writer and art critic, she has lectured at many art venues around the state, including the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and the New Britain Museum of American Art. Since 2001, she has provided an art lecture series at the West Hartford Public Library.
