Historic Gardens of Connecticut

The Thankful Arnold House Museum in Haddam is home to the Wilhelmina Ann Arnold Barnhart Memorial Garden. Created in 1973, the garden was converted to Colonial Revival style in the 1980s. The garden now mostly contains herbs that would have been grown by Thankful Arnold in the 1830s. The garden is open dawn to dusk all-year.
