Pretzels

The Problem: Pretzels are quick and easy, but might not satisfy your hunger. Dietician Skylar Griggs of Boston Children's Hospital said that pretzels made from white flour can spike blood sugar and leave you feeling hungry after snacking. Healthy Alternative: Look for low sodium, whole wheat pretzels instead. Other healthy snack options, according to Boston Children's Hospital, include apple slices with peanut butter, Triscuit crackers with low-fat cheese, and hummus with vegetables.
