Gordie Howe

Hockey Hall of Famer Gordie Howe and his family lived in Glastonbury for decades. Howe had a professional hockey career spanning from the 1940s into the 1980s. Howe was a 23-time NHL All Star and was part of four Stanley Cup winning teams playing for the Detroit Red Wings and finishing his career with the Hartford Whalers. Howe addressed the Glastonbury High School boys hockey team with a surprise talk in January 2012.
